# Esports World Cup 2026 concludes with AG.AL crowned champions

AG.AL has been crowned Esports World Cup 2026 Club Champion after seven weeks of competition in Paris, with more than 2,000 players representing 200 Clubs and over 100 countries competing across 25 tournaments in 24 games.

AG.AL secured the $7 million Club Championship with 5,300 points after Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc won the inaugural Trackmania tournament. 

The Club also claimed first place in TEKKEN 8, while finishing second in Chess, Free Fire and the Honor of Kings World Cup and third in Teamfight Tactics.

**Paris finale**

Two-time defending champions Team Falcons finished second with 4,600 points, followed by Team Vitality, Natus Vincere and Team Liquid.

The 2026 edition marked the first time the Esports World Cup was hosted outside Riyadh. The event generated 175,000 esports competition ticket sales, up 94% from 2025, while 2m total visits were recorded across venues, Fan Fest and city activations.

The EWC also reached 850m viewers and generated 440m hours watched, representing increases of 13% and 26% respectively. Peak viewership reached 4.3m during the League of Legends tournament.

The Esports World Cup will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027.
