[Lagos Life](https://www.isakaba.com/lagos-life/) creator [Shalom Rayhamen](https://www.isakaba.com/ijeoma-shalom-rayhamen/) has opened the game’s platform to developers, allowing them to build games that players can access from inside the popular browser-based world.

The new programme invites developers to submit their game ideas for inclusion in the Games app within Lagos Life. According to the [announcement](https://x.com/Shalom%5FHeyEliy/status/2109312658696552833?s=20&ref=isakaba.com), creators can use a software development kit (SDK) to build games that connect to the platform.

The move could give developers access to Lagos Life’s growing player base without having to build their own audience from scratch.

**New revenue share**

The programme also offers developers a way to earn money from their games. Rayhamen said developers will keep 70% of every sale, with payments made monthly.

Developers can test their games for free in a sandbox environment before submitting them. The platform also provides a shared login system, meaning players are already signed in when they access games built for Lagos Life.

Lagos Life launched on October 1st and quickly attracted millions of players with its virtual take on everyday life in Lagos. Players can find jobs, pay rent, buy property and socialise with others.

The developer programme marks a new step for the game, giving other creators a chance to build experiences inside its virtual world. Developers can find more information and submit their ideas through the [official website](https://lagoslife.app/developers?ref=isakaba.com).
