Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Xsolla have launched the Digital Games Accelerator Programme, inviting Malaysian game studios to apply for mentorship and commercialisation support, along with the opportunity to pitch to investors and publishers.

The programme runs as a structured four-month industry acceleration initiative designed to help Malaysian studios commercialise and scale their original IPs for global markets.

It equips producers and studio leads with skills to value and monetise IP, structure high-value deals, scale studios into investable entities, and engage international investors and partners.

**Structure and requirements**

The programme combines industry-led workshops, expert masterclasses, and one-to-one mentorship, covering project packaging, financing strategies, market positioning, and global distribution.

It concludes with a Final Pitching Day, where studios pitch to a panel of at least five investors and buyers. Delivery is hybrid, mainly online, with one compulsory in-person session required for selected participants.

Applicants must nominate a Malaysian studio lead or producer with at least five years of experience managing digital games studios or projects, who has been involved in a publicly released or commercially distributed game across mobile, computer, web, console, or gamification. One additional actively involved team member must also be nominated.

Applications close on September 1, 2026\. Interested individuals can [apply here](https://www.mdec.my/programmes/digital-content/accelerator?ref=isakaba.com).
