# Murad Abu Arqoub joins Jawaker as animator and sound engineer

UAE-based [Jawaker](https://www.isakaba.com/jawaker/) has tapped Jordanian gaming professional Murad Abu Arqoub as senior animator and sound engineer, moving on from Babil Games after more than three years with the Amman-based publisher. 

Abu Arqoub [took to LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7507456746735722496/?ref=isakaba.com) to share the news. The new role is based in Amman, Jordan, with Abu Arqoub joining Jawaker as a full-time employee in a hybrid working arrangement.

Before joining Jawaker, he spent over three years at Babil Games, where he held roles as senior multimedia designer and visual artist.

**Career moves**

Abu Arqoub joined Babil as a visual artist in 2023 before moving into the senior multimedia designer role in April of the same year. His time at the company ended in September 2026.

Abu Arqoub also previously worked as a senior animator at Pumpkin Group in Amman between July and September 2022.

Jawaker is a social online gaming platform focused on card and board games popular across the Arab world and North Africa. The platform brings together more than 30 regional games alongside social features such as multiplayer gaming, voice chat and private games.
