UAE-based mobile publisher [Tamatem Games](https://www.isakaba.com/tamatem-games/) has promoted Yousef Sadaqa to senior data engineer.

Sadaqa has been with Tamatem since February 2021, initially joining as a data entry representative before moving into a data engineer representative role in October 2021\.

He became a data engineer specialist in February 2024 and has now moved into a senior position. His current role is based on-site, after previously working in a hybrid capacity.

**From data entry to senior engineer**

Sadaqa's progression at Tamatem has seen him take on increasingly technical responsibilities across the company's data function.

His experience includes working with Apache Airflow, Snowflake, SQL and Linux, alongside other data engineering tools and technologies.

The promotion comes as Tamatem continues to expand its mobile games publishing operation across the MENA region. The company says it has published more than 70 titles and generated more than 300 million downloads, with over 3m monthly active users.
