24 Bit Studios promotes Daniel Burke to intermediate QA

South Africa-based 24 Bit Studios has promoted Daniel Burke to Intermediate QA. 

In his new role, he will take on increased responsibility across day-to-day testing, working closely with developers and designers to ensure build stability and overall product quality. 

Before stepping into the role of intermediate QA, Burke spent nearly two years as a junior QA at the studio, contributing to projects including the Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (T.A.B.S.) PS5 port. 

Early career 

Prior to 24 Bit Games, he held creative roles in game development, where he worked as an artist and game designer at Pineapple On Pizza Studios, contributing to small studio projects. 

Earlier in his career, Burke worked as a character and environment Artist with Picnic Pals, a student-led game development team.

Outside of games, he also worked as an online marketer at Ink Digital Marketing on a contract basis, where he supported digital campaigns with a focus on Google Ads and Facebook marketing.
