Africanfuturist heist game Relooted launches this February

South African game studio Nyamakop has confirmed that its Africanfuturist parkour heist game Relooted will launch on February 10th 2026.

Currently in development for PC and Xbox consoles, Relooted centres on reclaiming real-world cultural artefacts looted during the colonial era.

Players take on the role of Nomali, carrying out meticulously planned heists that involve scouting locations, plotting escape routes, and executing thefts using fluid, parkour-inspired movement.

Historical heists

The game features missions focused on repatriating artifacts such as Pedro of the Amazon, the remains of Prince Alemayehu of Ethiopia, and Mangi Meli’s skull from Tanzania.

In total, players will recover 70 real world artifacts, each holding cultural, spiritual, and historical significance to the communities they were taken from.

Relooted’s African futurist world is anchored in a South African hideout, with a reimagined Johannesburg shaping the game’s visual identity.
