Ash Games Studio partners with Korean playtesting platform Plithus
Partnership aims to boost MENA game testing standards
Saudi-based Ash Game Studio has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Korean game testing platform Plithus to playtest upcoming PC titles.
Ash Games Studio said the partnership will see it run earlier and more structured CBT and OBT playtests using data-driven player feedback.
The partnership also aims to adapt Korean playtesting practices to support MENA developers while creating new opportunities for playtesters in the region to contribute to global titles.
“I'm excited about how this collaboration can help us and other MENA developers improve quality earlier, gather real player insights, and build better games together," said Ash Game Studio founder Yaser Alahmadi.
IP expansion
Ash Game Studio is the maker of Azooma Escape, a culturally rich stealth adventure on PC. Earlier this year, we spoke with the team about the making of Azooma Escape.
We learned that the team is exploring ports of Azooma Escape beyond PC, with strong community interest around Nintendo Switch and PlayStation following its Steam launch.
The studio also plans to expand the Azooma Escape IP with new storylines, characters, and social scenarios, while growing its team and developing a new project currently being playtested via its Discord community.
