Classy Games’ Orbital selected for Games from Ireland Steam event
Running from March 13th to March 19th, the event showcases games inspired by Irish stories or locations
Classy Games' upcoming title Orbital has been featured as part of the Games from Ireland Steam Event that showcases over 150 titles connected to the country’s development community.
Running from March 13th to March 19th, the event was organised by the Irish Game Makers Association and brings together projects led by Irish teams, titles playable in Irish, and games inspired by Irish stories or locations.
Moreover, the showcase allows players to discover featured games through trailers, gameplay footage and curated clips from Irish streamers.
Classy Games currently operates as a fully remote studio with team members working across Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Studio recognition
Orbital is a survival arcade game where players take on the role of planetary pilots attempting to delay the collapse of the solar system as it is gradually pulled toward a supermassive black hole.

Players must navigate asteroid fields, gravitational forces and escalating cosmic hazards while deploying planetary technologies to survive as long as possible and climb global leaderboards.
“Ireland has a long tradition of creativity and storytelling, and it’s exciting to see that spirit coming through in games,” said Classy Games founder and CEO Jamie McClenaghan.
“Being selected as one of the titles in this showcase is something we’re really proud of. It’s a great way for players around the world to discover the talent coming out of Ireland right now.”
Orbital is expected to appear at Steam Next Fest this June ahead of launch in July 2026. You can wishlist the title on Steam.
