Esports World Cup Foundation opens National Team Partner applications for Esports Nations Cup 2026

The Esports World Cup Foundation has opened applications for official National Team Partners ahead of the debut Esports Nations Cup 2026.

Set to take place in Riyadh in November 2026, the Esports Nations Cup introduces a recurring, nation-based competition that allows players to compete under their national flag.

The EWCF said this complements the club-focused Esports World Cup and deepens fan connection through national identity.

Selected National Team Partners will act as the official national counterparts for the ENC within their countries and territories.

National representation

In collaboration with the EWCF, they will be responsible for building and representing national teams, supporting coaches across game titles, and coordinating with game partners and clubs within the competition framework.

Beyond competition, partners will lead marketing, communications and community engagement efforts, working with creators, media and public institutions to build national fandom, while competitive integrity and player eligibility remain governed by ENC rules.

To support long term growth, the EWCF will launch the ENC Development Fund, committing at least $20 million annually from 2026. The fund will cover travel and logistics, training camps, exhibition matches, watch parties and fan-facing activities.

Applications close on January 31, 2026, with the first National Team Partners to be announced later this year. Interested partners can apply here.
