EWCF promotes Mawaddah Bakader to senior manager for product master planning

The Esports World Cup Foundation has promoted Mawaddah Bakader to senior manager of product master planning.

Bakader steps into the role after serving as festival manager at the organisation, where she contributed to the planning and delivery framework for the Esports World Cup and helped coordinate cross-functional teams involved in the event’s execution.

In her new position, she will focus on advancing the foundation’s product master planning strategy, supporting the long-term development and operational planning behind the Esports World Cup and related initiatives.

“This promotion represents more than a title change; it's a milestone [that] comes after measurable achievements, strategic ownership, and delivering large-scale master planning initiative on one of the most important projects in KSA," said Bakader in a post.

Major events experience

Bakader joined the Esports World Cup Foundation in 2024 after more than three years at the Saudi Esports Federation, where she held roles including head of general professional events and events manager.

During her time there, she oversaw the development and execution of major esports and gaming events, managing vendor relationships, operational logistics, budgets, risk planning and post event performance reporting.

Earlier in her career, Bakader worked at Saudi events and entertainment company The Gathering KSA as both communications manager and project manager.

She also completed an internship at Live Nation Entertainment in the United Kingdom, gaining early experience in live entertainment and event production.
