Four games coming to PS5 and PC through PlayStation’s MENA Hero Project

A first look at the debut lineup from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Tunisia, and Bahrain

Four games coming to PS5 and PC through PlayStation’s MENA Hero Project

Over the past year, PlayStation has been working closely with game developers across the MENA region through the MENA Hero Project, an initiative created to spotlight and empower creators to tell their own stories through games.

The idea is simple: great games can come from anywhere.

Now, the first wave of supported titles has been revealed - four very different games that highlight the creativity, ambition, and spirit of developers from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Tunisia, and Bahrain.

1. Red Bandits

In a hyper-capitalist world where one company controls everything, a group of thieves known as the Red Bandits rise to spark rebellion. You play as Stutt, an old thief with a stuttering condition and a past he can’t fully remember, breaking into fortified towers to dismantle corporate power from within.

Red Bandits is developed by Team Agenda in Saudi Arabia. The game offers evolving heists and stylish action with a personal story of defiance.

2. Enci’s Solution

The Aeons were exiled underground centuries ago, but danger lurks beyond their safe village gates. In this hand-painted 2.5D narrative platformer, you play as Ji’we, a young Aeon on a quest to save his closest friend.

Along the way, he encounters Enci, a lost encyclopedic robot, and together they set out to uncover the mysteries of the surface world of Regalia.

This is developed by Dark Emerald from the UAE. The title promises over 40 levels, collectibles, hidden stages, and techno-dystopian aesthetics in a hostile world.

3. The Perfect Run

Save the world - or blow it up one loop at a time. In The Perfect Run, you play as Quicksave, a time-traveling hero battling villainous gangs, marketed superheroes, and a mega corporation in the sprawling city of New Rome.

You’ve got three days to decide the city’s fate, and time resets at the end of each loop. What you do in one cycle can change dialogue options, unlock new routes, and shift alliances in the next.

With superpowered boss fights, branching factions, and hidden upgrades, The Perfect Run is developed by Lanterns Studios in Tunisia and is shaping up to be a superhero RPG where every choice really does matter.

4. A Cat’s Manor

In this game, you wake up in a creepy house infested with spiders, with a stitched human hand where your tail should be. No memory. No escape - at least not without solving the manor’s secrets.

A Cat’s Manor is developed by Happiest Dark Corner in Bahrain. The game blends puzzles, combat, crafting, and rhythm-based challenges in an atmospheric adventure.

Using 3D audio and PS5 DualSense features, the game immerses players in its haunting world, daring you to listen, observe, and survive.

You can find and wishlist some of the games on the PS5 and on PC via Steam.
