Mad Hook Games launches Highway Drifter: Hajwala Simulator on PC
Speed, engine torque, suspension, gear ratios, and car weight can all be adjusted!
Jordan-based studio Mad Hook Games has launched its new racing title Highway Drifter: Hajwala Simulator on PC.
Described by the studio as a non-traditional drifting experience, the game brings drifting culture to players with a focus on speed, style, and high-risk control.
Highway Drifter: Hajwala Simulator is inspired by hajwala, a motorsport subculture popular across the Gulf, where players are encouraged to push cars to extreme speeds on highways and open roads while maintaining control.

The game features environments ranging from desert highways and mountain roads to narrow European city streets, each offering distinct handling challenges and driving styles.
Car customisation
A key feature of Highway Drifter is its advanced car physics and tuning system, giving players full control over vehicle performance.
Speed, engine torque, suspension, gear ratios, and car weight can all be adjusted, allowing for custom setups tailored to hajwala drifting, traditional drifting, drag racing, or low-speed cruising.

The launch follows a milestone year for Mad Hook Games, which became the first Arab studio to release physical PlayStation 5 titles in the MENA region. Its previous releases include Amer: Fighting and Highway Drifter, both available as physical discs on PS5.
In an earlier interview with IsaKaba, the studio said Amer: Fighting is part of a broader plan to expand the Amer IP across multiple games.
