Mirai appoints Ahmad Hussein as director of marketing and community growth

Scopely-owned Riyadh-based games studio Mirai has tapped Ahmad Hussein as director of marketing and community growth.

In his new role, Hussein will lead growth efforts across the MENA region, focusing on expanding Scopely’s presence in the Middle East and North Africa. 

He will also focus on delivering localised growth strategies and strengthening community engagement to ensure the company’s games portfolio resonates with players across the Arab world.

Track record

Before joining Mirai, he worked as a marketing and growth consultant at 2K, focusing on market research, project management and business growth strategies across the region.

Prior to that, he served as senior operations manager for AppGallery Gaming MEA at Huawei in Dubai, where he led game operations and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and partnerships for the platform.

Earlier in his career, he was publishing and operations lead for MENA at Lilith Games in Shanghai, overseeing the regional publishing of titles such as Rise of Kingdoms and AFK Arena.
