Naphora Games Group appoints Raneem Khoshhal as 2D artist
She’ll create and refine visual assets that support a game’s overall look and feel
Saudi-based Naphora Games Group has recruited Raneem Khoshhal as its new 2D artist.
In her new role, she’ll be responsible for creating and refining visual assets that support a game’s overall look and feel.
This includes concept art, illustrations, UI elements, and in-game assets, working closely with designers and developers to ensure visual consistency and clarity across projects.
She has built a steadily progressing career across education and game development, moving from teaching into studio-based creative roles.
Breaking into games
Before joining Naphora, Khoshhal completed a six-month UI artist internship at Steer Studios, a Savvy Games Group subsidiary. Earlier in her career, she also served as an art teacher at Alaqeeq Holding.
“I’m thrilled to embark on this new role as a 2D artist," said Khoshhal. “This industry is relatively new in the country, and as someone from Madinah, finding jobs in the games industry, especially remotely, was a significant challenge.
“However, being a gamer and an artist makes the job even more exciting. I’m eager to expand my experience and learn more about the gaming world"
