Our MENA Studios Directory has launched

IsaKaba has officially launched its Studio Directory, beginning with the first phase of studios mapped across Africa and the Middle East.

This is more than a list. It is an early snapshot of a rapidly evolving ecosystem. The inaugural cohort spans Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal and beyond.

Together, they represent the structural layers shaping the region’s games industry today: infrastructure builders, global publishers, hypercasual performance engines, console-focused indies, AI-native startups, edtech specialists and evergreen multiplayer operators.

This is Version One

Our Studio Directory will continue to expand, with new profiles added regularly. Alongside it, IsaKaba Intelligence (coming soon) will begin classifying studios by growth stage, strategic model and ecosystem role.

From billion-dollar social gaming giants to lean indie teams building culturally rooted IP, some studios are externally funded and internationally backed. Others are self-financed and community-driven. Several are pioneering local payment infrastructure, while others are pushing the boundaries of narrative, technology, and platforms.

Patterns are already visible. Mobile remains dominant. Saudi Arabia is accelerating capital deployment. North and West Africa are building cultural IP. Infrastructure and distribution gaps are still emerging.

The goal is simple: to provide a structured lens through which developers, investors, publishers and stakeholders can understand the African and Middle East games industry. For now, you can explore our Studios Directory.
