PUBG Mobile Confirmed for Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh
A total of 32 national teams will compete from November 3rd to 8th.
The Esports World Cup Foundation has confirmed PUBG Mobile as one of 16 titles set to feature at the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026, marking another major moment for mobile esports on the global stage.
The tournament will take place in Riyadh from November 2 to 29, 2026, with the PUBG Mobile competition running from November 3 to 8. A total of 32 national teams will compete, beginning with a round robin group stage split into four groups of eight.
The top four teams from each group will advance to a 16-team Grand Final, where up to 18 matches will be played using the Smash rule point system to decide the champion.
Qualifying stages
Half of the slots will be filled through direct invitations. Twelve teams will qualify via the PUBG Mobile National Team Ranking, determined by performances at the 2025 World Cup and Global Championship, as well as the 2026 Global Open.
Four additional teams will receive special invites, while the remaining 16 spots will be decided through regional qualifiers and two Wildcard entries in July 2026.
At the 2025 Esports World Cup, Myanmar’s Yangon Galacticos delivered a surprise victory after defending champions Alpha7 Esports were eliminated early, underlining the unpredictable nature of national competition.
