Deluxe Creation Studios' Rasta Santa: Retribution has won Audience Choice Awards at Africa Games Week 2025.
The win marks a standout moment for the nine-person Nigerian team at an event that brings together more than 3,000 attendees and 90 speakers from across the continent and beyond.
Deluxe Creation clinched the award after Rasta Santa: Retribution outperformed a strong lineup of nominees.

The title came out on top in a category that included FreeLives' Stick it to the Stickman, Yellow Lab Games' Metavoidal, Ta Jama's Gara, Itthynk Gaming’s Super Diski FC, and Relooted from Nyamakop.
Studio catalogue
Set in Lagos, Rasta Santa: Retribution is a story about an undercover CID officer who assumes a Santa disguise to rescue orphans from traffickers. We did a hands-on review of the title here.
Deluxe Creation Studios has built a strong catalogue with more than 20 released titles, including Adventures of Chike: Sky Raider and its sequel Adventures of Chike: Lost in Meta.
The studio is also expanding into larger projects, including Urban Fury, a Lagos-based fighting game developed with David Kimekwu of Vector Studios. The team hopes Urban Fury will help fuel a local ecosystem where gamers can compete in homegrown fighting games.
Last month, Deluxe were among the teams spotlighted as part of Google’s 2025 WeArePlay campaign to celebrate the people and teams behind apps and games on Google Play.
Rasta Santa: Retribution is available to download on the Play Store and App Store.
