Raven Illusion reveal trailer for upcoming Beyond: Fire & Ice game
The upcoming title aims to present a fresh take on mythological RPGs
Nigeria-based studio Raven Illusion has released the first trailer of its upcoming action RPG Beyond: Fire & Ice.
The upcoming RPG lets players switch between two protagonists: Shangdi, the Emperor of Flames, and Skadi, the dethroned Ice Queen.
Their kingdoms are pushed into conflict by a hidden underworld force, setting up a story where both sides have believable and compelling reasons to fight. Beyond: Fire & Ice is shaping up to launch in 2026.
Continous growth
In a post celebrating the achievement of the game, Raven Illusion 3D prop and texture artist Bright Egubine described the game as a “mythological action RPG, where Fire and Ice collide”.
Drawing inspiration from Norse, Chinese, and Japanese mythology, Beyond: Fire & Ice aims to provide a fresh take on mythological RPGs. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam.
Over the years, Raven Illusion has proven to be one of the most innovative studios within the African games industry, having released a premium game last month titled Unbroken, which is currently available on the Play Store.
