Sony taps WhiteMoon Dreams to support Dark Emerald Studios on Enci’s Solution
The collaboration mirrors WhiteMoon Dreams’ earlier involvement with SIE’s India Hero Project
Los Angeles-based WhiteMoon Dreams has revealed that it is co-developing Enci’s Solution alongside Dubai-based Dark Emerald Studio as part of Sony’s MENA Hero Project.
The company said the initiative allows it to mentor and assist regional studios to optimise and ship their titles on PS5, and that Dark Emerald’s upcoming precision platformer has quickly turned the co-developer into an outspoken admirer.
The collaboration mirrors WhiteMoon Dreams’ earlier involvement with SIE’s India Hero Project, but this time focuses on supporting small teams across the Middle East and North Africa.
A sci-fi journey
Described as a hand-painted precision platformer, Enci’s Solution follows Ji’we and an encyclopedic robot named Enci as they navigate dangerous underground environments, avoid traps and collect remnants of a dying world.
The game blends tight, responsive controls with fluid movement, encouraging players to master its challenges without frustration. Even failure feels purposeful, with respawns and feedback loops that reward learning.
Still in development, Enci’s Solution is one of four MENA games slated for release on PS5 and PC, with an emotional sci-fi story centred on exile and survival underpinning its puzzle-driven action.
