Steer Studios taps Adrian Wüst as lead game designer
“It is an exciting time to develop games here and certainly the biggest adventure of my life."
Saudi-based developer Steer Studios has appointed Adrian Wüst as its lead game designer.
With over a decade of experience across mobile, casual, and mid-core development, Adrian joined Steer after serving as senior game designer at CrazyLabs.
Outside his time at CrazyLabs, he also spent close to a year as a manager and product designer at Supersonic from Unity. He's also had stings at Stratosphere Games, Huuuge Games and Sandbox Interactive.
In his new role, Adrian will work towards shaping product vision, leading design strategy and interpreting analytics to support Steer's vision amidst the company's growth.
A new adventure
The Grunt Rush maker said Adrian has strong gameplay and creative leadership experience and are “looking forward to the influence" he'll have on projects.
“I love games and as long as I can remember and live my life to create the experiences that inspire me," Adrian Wüst told IsaKaba. “Until last summer, I never imagined that this passion would take me to Saudi Arabia at some point, but I'm glad that it did.
“The games ecosystem in this region is still less developed than in other parts of the world, but already shown unprecedented growth over the last few years.
He added: “It is an exciting time to develop games here and certainly the biggest adventure of my life.”
