Wahat Games reveals first trailer for upcoming title Legacy of Pearl

UAE-based Wahat Games has released the first trailer for Legacy of Pearl, a new story-driven Metroidvania title.

Though the game is still in development, the developer said Legacy of Pearl is set in a fantastical version of the UAE that'll explore MENA folklore like never before.

Founded in Dubai, Wahat Games brings together a global team dedicated to crafting games that deliver memorable experiences through gameplay, rich worlds, and inspiring stories.

Cultural roots 

Wahat Games launched its debut title Bubble Rage last year, a deliberately punishing platformer built around challenging players. 

Alongside Legacy of Pearls, the studio is also developing Karak Storm, an adrenaline-driven battle royale that emphasizes team-based strategy, weapon synergies, and tactical use of procedurally generated maps.

Rooted in Middle Eastern culture, the studio is focused on creating story-driven games that share the region’s heritage while delivering lasting experiences for players worldwide.
