Yalla reaches 44.8m monthly users as AI and gaming expansion drives engagement
The company also reported 10.4m paying users across its social networking and gaming platforms
UAE-based social and gaming platform Yalla Group has reported continued growth in its user base as the company expands its digital entertainment ecosystem.
Monthly active users reached 44.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, representing an 8.2% increase year over year. The company also reported 10.4m paying users across its social networking and gaming platforms.
Yalla said the growth has been supported by deeper integration between its social products and gaming experiences, part of its broader “gaming plus social” strategy aimed at building culturally relevant digital spaces for users across the region.
AI-driven efficiency
The company has also been expanding the use of artificial intelligence across its platform ecosystem. According to the firm, AI tools are now being used to improve operational efficiency, support localisation efforts and accelerate product development.
Its first match-three puzzle title, Turbo Match, has recently launched and is currently gathering early player feedback, while a desert-themed strategy game is scheduled for wider promotion in the second quarter of 2026.
As part of its expansion, Yalla recently partnered with the Saudi Esports Federation to support the Saudi eLeague 2026 and talent development initiatives aimed at growing the competitive gaming ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
