Overview

Founded in 2014 by Ahmed Najeeb, Walid Khairy, and Mohi following their graduation from the Information Technology Institute and a global ranking at Microsoft's Imagine Cup, 2024 Studios takes its name from the lab number where its founders first met.

The studio operates across three areas: work-for-hire educational games for clients globally, original IP development, and community activity. Over nine years, 2024 Studios has produced and released more than 15 titles across mobile, PC, and Linux.

The team is fully remote, spread across multiple governorates in Egypt, and gives back through teaching advanced courses at the Information Technology Institute covering game design, level design, animation in Unity, and multiplayer networking.
