Overview

Adair Interactive Arts is a Nigerian independent game development studio founded by Chuks Okafor. The studio has focused on experimental game development, with projects spanning mobile games, PC titles and mixed-reality experiences.

One of its main projects is Project Hemlock, a cel-shaded sci-fi action-adventure game for PC featuring a female protagonist. The project has been in development since 2022 and grew out of Okafor's earlier work on HyprSLICE, a cel-shaded endless-runner/FPS hybrid for mobile.

Okafor has also developed Beat Blaster, a rhythm-based shooter that won the 2020 Gamejam Awards and was later recognised through the Naija Games Showcase.

More recently, his work has moved heavily into XR and mixed reality, including Atrium, a spatial interface project for Meta Quest, and experiments with procedural animation, AI combat systems and spatial UI.
