Overview

Asili Entertainment is a Kenyan indie game development and animation studio based in Nairobi. The studio was founded in 2016 and was originally known through Tera Image Interactive and Uso Games. In 2024, Kenyan studios Shauku Games and Uso Games came together to form Asili Entertainment.

The studio focuses on games inspired by Kenyan culture and themes, with the aim of creating experiences that put African stories and ideas at the centre of gameplay. Its current portfolio includes games such as Fellow Kenyans, Ugali Sosa, Link Logic, Lemuani: The Desert Archer and Sanse.

Ugali Sosa, developed by the people behind Shauku Games and Uso Games, is one of the studio's more recognisable projects. The 2024 merger brought the two teams together under the Asili Entertainment name.
