Overview

Cube Studio RDC is a Congolese digital creation company based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Founded in 2024, the studio combines technology and art to create games and other digital experiences, with a particular focus on African culture and history.

Its main game project is Ndoto, an educational adventure game designed to introduce players to African history and Congolese civilisations through interactive storytelling. The game follows Elikya, a young heroine who explores historical stories, monuments and challenges inspired by African heritage.

Cube Studio released a test version of Ndoto for Android, using the early build to gather feedback from players ahead of the final version.

Beyond game development, Cube Studio works in 3D animation and digital creation. It has also been involved in training, including a game development and gaming business programme delivered in Kinshasa with SpielFabrique. The training covered game development using Unreal Engine and Blender, alongside funding, marketing and pitching.

The studio has also produced Amani Furaha, an animated short film dealing with conflict, resilience and peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
