Overview

Digital Mania Studio was a Tunisian independent game development studio founded by Walid Sultan Midani. The team began experimenting with game development in 2009 before officially establishing DigitalMania in 2011. It became one of Tunisia's early dedicated game development studios.

The studio developed games across multiple platforms while also providing development services to external companies. Its projects included Defendoor, a strategy/FPS game built around Tunisian cultural references, and Tunis 2050, an adaptation of the Tunisian television show for Kinect that was later adapted for the Middle East. DigitalMania said it developed more than 30 games for external studios and companies during its operation.

The studio is now closed. Its website and LinkedIn page remain online but largely contain historical information. Walid Sultan Midani has since become involved with Pan Africa Gaming Group, which brings together African game development talent across multiple countries.
