Overview

Goondu Interactive is a Nigerian game development studio focused on creating games built around African stories, culture and mythology. The studio is based in Enugu and describes its work as combining cultural depth with modern game design.

The studio's flagship project is Beyond Service, a narrative-driven action game rooted in African mythology. The game follows Soma, a man given supernatural powers by his ancestors, and is being developed with mobile, PC and console platforms in mind. IsaKaba has a dedicated page for the game.

Goondu is also working on Danfo Hustle, a story-driven arcade driving game set in Lagos. The project is being developed as a mobile title, with PlayStation and Xbox versions planned after its mobile launch. Goondu is serving as the game's development partner, handling technical development and gameplay systems.

The studio has secured a Solana Superteam Nigeria grant and joined the PlayStation Partners programme. It has also partnered with Gamr Studio and showcased its games at events including Africa Comicade Gamathon.
