Overview

Jawaker is a social gaming platform founded in 2009 by a group of young Jordanians. The platform brings together card and board games popular across the Arab world and North Africa, allowing players to compete, connect with friends and socialise through a single gaming ecosystem.

Its catalogue includes more than 40 games spanning regional favourites such as Baloot, Tarneeb, Trix, Hand, Kout Bo, Ronda and Dominoes. Jawaker develops and publishes its games in-house, with social features including multiplayer gaming, chat, clubs and custom emotes.

Jawaker is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and has been part of Swedish gaming company Stillfront Group since its acquisition in 2021 for $205 million. Stillfront described Jawaker as one of the world's largest classic PvP gaming apps, with the majority of its revenue generated from MENA and additional revenue from Arabic-speaking communities in Europe and North America.
