Overview
Jondob Games is an independent game studio creating story-driven games rooted in Middle Eastern culture. The studio focuses on emotional stories, original worlds and characters, with projects that combine regional influences with modern game design.
The studio is developing Amira, a top-down action RPG about a young girl who uses weapons and ancient magic to fight machines occupying her home. The game combines Middle Eastern mythology with science fiction.
Its second project, Libi, is an adventure game set in a strange world where players search for traces of a lost lover while facing hostile, unsettling enemies. Players must use food, traps and limited supplies to survive.
Beyond its own games, Jondob Games offers services to other developers, including console porting for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, Arabic localisation, custom backend development and technical consultancy.
The studio also develops tools for other game makers, including the Jondob Interaction System for building interactions in Godot and the Jondob Multiplayer Backend for running multiplayer games on self-hosted servers.
