MaliyoCON

Hosted by developer Maliyo Games, MaliyoCON is set to hold its first edtion in December 2025. The event is designed to be a conference dedicated entirely to mobile game development, celebrating the tools, talent, and creativity driving Africa's fast-growing games industry.

The in-person conference will bring together developers, investors, publishers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond to explore the region’s mobile gaming potential. Attendees can expect talks, panels, and presentations that dive into the future of the African mobile games market, alongside live game demos, product showcases, and cultural activations.

MaliyoCON also highlights local talent through initiatives like the GameUp Africa Showcase and a Game Pitch Competition, offering emerging creators a platform to present their work to key industry stakeholders.
