Overview

Morbiket is a Tunisian creative studio founded by Awatef Mosbeh and Chaker Kalai. The studio works across animation, children's publishing and interactive digital content, combining traditional media with technologies such as augmented and virtual reality. Its current website describes Morbiket as a creative company specialising in visual production, animation, children's publishing and interactive digital experiences.

The studio has a particular focus on educational and cultural content for children. Its work includes mobile applications, interactive games, animated content and AR experiences designed to connect digital experiences with books and other physical media.

One of its best-known projects is Toufoula, an educational platform launched in 2016 for children aged four to 12. The project combines a smart paper magazine with games and augmented reality content, reflecting Morbiket's broader focus on reducing excessive screen time while retaining the benefits of digital learning.

Morbiket has also expanded its activities between Tunisia and France. Through the Afrique Créative programme, it opened a branch in Marseille and developed Toufoutrip, an application designed to help families explore archaeological heritage. The studio has also run MorbiCrea bootcamps aimed at young creatives.
