Overview

Outcast Digital is an independent game development studio based in Rabat, Morocco. The studio describes itself as a 100% Moroccan indie studio focused on creating and publishing original games inspired by Moroccan culture and history.

The studio began its game development journey in March 2022. Its first game, Once Upon a Time in Morocco, was created in just three weeks and released on PC in August 2022. The adventure game takes players through a dreamlike Moroccan landscape as they explore ruins and search for lost tablets.

Outcast Digital is currently working on Lost In Darkness, a survival game set in the Atlas Mountains. The studio's website also lists POV: You're The Computer, which puts players inside an internet café computer as they complete tasks for users.

The studio has also been featured at Morocco Gaming Expo, where CEO Khalid Bouzarout and lead developer Zakaria Aguinane presented Magaza Simulator, another project in development.
