Overview

RetroMuse Studios is an Algerian independent game development studio focused on creating games across mobile, PC and web. The studio describes itself as being driven by a passion for retro games, while also working on gamification, serious games, digital art and IT solutions.

The studio's games include What Is It?, a picture quiz and vocabulary game released on Android and WebGL, and Cyber Chaos, a 2D roguelite action-platformer set in a cyberpunk world. Cyber Chaos is being developed for PC and is coming to Steam, with Lunatic Studios handling publishing.

RetroMuse is also developing ENCRYPT, a psychological horror and mystery game set inside a corrupted operating system. The project combines puzzles, simulated computer interfaces, minigames and 3D gameplay, and was revealed at the Algeria Game Awards.

The studio has also released The Homework, a short narrative horror and PC simulation game currently in development.
