Overview

Phys is a Saudi-born AR fitness app for children ages 2 to 12, designed to turn screen time into movement-powered play, no external hardware or controllers required, with built-in parental controls. Founded in 2022 by five Saudi innovators who met through the Misk Fellowship, the studio was motivated by concerns around excessive screen time among youth and set out to build a technology-driven alternative that keeps children active while still engaging them through games.

Through motion detection and augmented reality mechanics, Phys combines entertainment with exercise across a growing catalogue of mini-games.
