Symmetric Studio is a Saudi mobile developer founded in 2024 by CEO Ali Alasiri, backed by $300,000 in funding from Exel by Merak. Its debut title, Valley of Fog, is a hybrid-casual game blending dungeon crawling with city building, featuring Leo, an Arabian leopard treasure hunter exploring foggy lands, battling monsters, crafting gear, recruiting allies, and managing a settlement with idle progression that continues even offline.

Development is supported by fellow Merak-backed startup Qwacks, which provides Symmetric's development tools and live-ops infrastructure. Alasiri has said the studio is currently testing the game globally and refining its goals as it works toward a wider release.
