Overview
TACSOU is an independent Moroccan game development studio run by Soufiane Tacherifine. Tacherifine describes himself as a software developer and indie game developer, and is currently the sole member of TACSOU. The studio focuses mainly on 2D games.
Its portfolio includes Colored Effects, a puzzle platformer where players switch between colours to gain different abilities, collect gems and defeat bosses, and Kitiplant, a puzzle game in which players guide cats through grid-based levels while managing their resources and energy. Both games are available on PC.
TACSOU has also developed mobile games based on Moroccan card games. Hez 2 allows players to compete against AI or friends online and has passed 100,000 downloads on Google Play. The game was updated in July 2026.
The studio's other mobile release, Ronda, adapts the popular Moroccan card game of the same name. TACSOU also has smaller projects including Fish & Hooks, which was created for the Moroccan Game Jam.
