Overview

Tobiya Game Studio is an XR and interactive experience studio based in Addis Ababa, founded by Oliyad Tesfaye. The studio builds custom AR, VR, and mobile games, with a focus on immersive and hardware-integrated experiences.

Founded in 2024, Tobiya is one of the youngest game studios in Ethiopia. The studio has won first place at an XR hackathon for an AI-based VR game, and took first place at the Echoes game jam hosted by Africacomicade with a mixed reality title called Cradle MR.
