Overview

Zawadi Games is a Kenyan game development studio focused on creating games inspired by African locations, cultures and experiences. Its stated ambition is to give players the ability to explore and simulate different parts of Africa through games.

The studio's portfolio includes Ma3 Simulator, a driving and business simulation built around Nairobi's matatu culture. Players operate a local bus, build their business and eventually develop their own matatu. Zawadi Games has also developed Battle Over Kismayo, a team-based strategy game set in East Africa that features the Somali Pirates and Kenya Defence Forces as opposing factions.
