Saudi Arabia-based developer Classy Games has officially launched its debut title Orbital on Steam, marking the studio's first commercial game release.

The infinite survival action game puts players in control of entire planets as they attempt to resist the pull of a supermassive black hole consuming the solar system.

Rather than focusing on victory, the game challenges players to survive for as long as possible by mastering each planet's unique abilities while climbing the global leaderboards.

Classy Games founder Jamie McClenaghan has invited players to test their endurance against the collapsing solar system.

"Orbital is officially live on Steam," said McClenaghan. "Pilot a planet against the pull of a supermassive black hole as the solar system collapses around you. Master unique abilities, climb the global leaderboards, and see how long you survive."

First release

Orbital blends action, casual and simulation gameplay while centring its survival experience around sacrifice and inevitability. Players are tasked with delaying the destruction of the solar system for as long as possible rather than preventing its collapse entirely.

Earlier this year, Orbital was selected for an Ireland-focused Steam event where it was showcased alongside over 150 titles connected to the country’s development community.

With Orbital now available, Classy Games is also continuing development on its next project, SillySuspects, as the Saudi studio expands its portfolio beyond its debut release.
