Dreams on a Pillow reaches 10,000 Steam wishlists

Palestinian developer Rasheed Abueideh has confirmed that Dreams on a Pillow has reached 10,000 wishlists on Steam as the game moves closer to release.

Abueideh thanked the game's community for supporting the project, saying the milestone means a lot to him and the team. He also ended his message with “Free Palestine”.

The wishlist milestone comes as Dreams on a Pillow continues its second crowdfunding campaign on LaunchGood.

The campaign has raised £66,994 from 3,646 supporters against a £302,790 goal, according to the current LaunchGood page. The campaign launched in April and is being used to help fund development of the game.

Continuous growth

Dreams on a Pillow is a 3D stealth and puzzle adventure inspired by a Palestinian folk tale set during the 1948 Nakba. Players follow Khadra, a young mother who is forced to flee her home and mistakenly carries a pillow instead of her baby.

The game moves between Khadra's escape, memories of life before the Nakba and dream-like sequences. It is being developed independently without a publisher and is currently targeting a PC release.

The 10,000 wishlist milestone gives the team another sign of interest in the project as development continues. You can wishlist the game on Steam.
