Saudi Games Initiative launches SGI Game Jam 2026
The organisation returns with another jam focused on practical game development
Saudi Games Initiative has launched SGI Game Jam 2026, a collaborative game development event aimed at bringing together developers, designers, artists, and creators to build playable projects.
The jam is open to participants across all experience levels, from beginners to practised developers, and covers roles including programming, game design, 2D and 3D art, UI/UX, sound design, and production.
Building on the Ramadan Jam
The initiative follows SGI's Ramadan Jam 2026 in February, which ran as a bootcamp-style programme combining workshops, mentorship, and a focused development sprint.
SGI Game Jam takes a similar approach, emphasising practical learning, teamwork, rapid prototyping, and creativity as its core pillars.
Participants can join via the official itch.io page, where further instructions are expected to be shared through SGI's event channels ahead of the jam.
