Babil Games taps Adel Alhamwi as technical 3D artist
He joins Babil after nearly three years with Mad Hook
Adel Alhamwi has joined Babil Games as a technical 3D artist, moving to the Jordanian studio after nearly three years at Mad Hook.
Alhamwi joined Mad Hook in 2023 as a 3D artist and spent two years and eight months with the Amman-based studio, where he worked on various projects during his time there.
He also has more than six years of experience as a senior 3D artist, alongside previous work as a project manager, technical 3D artist and level designer at DiceDream.
New chapter
Alhamwi took to LinkedIn to share his departure from Mad Hook, describing it as an "amazing journey" and saying it was time to "say goodbye and start a new chapter in my career."
He added that he was "truly grateful for everything I've experienced" during his time at the studio, including the opportunity to work on different projects, face new challenges and learn from the people around him.
Alhamwi later confirmed his move to Babil Games, saying he was excited to join the team, learn new things and work on new projects.
The appointment expands Babil Games' 3D art capabilities as Alhamwi brings experience across technical art, game development and level design from his previous roles in Jordan's games industry.
