Nigerian solo developer Joseph Ojo has revealed that Danfo Simulator, an open-world driving game set in Lagos will arrive PC and Android on October 27th, 2026.
Developed under Lagos-based Rock And Paper Studios, the game puts players behind the wheel of a danfo bus as they pick up passengers, follow routes across the city and deal with traffic jams.
Danfo Simulator draws inspiration from familiar Lagos locations, including the Third Mainland Bridge, Oke Arin and Ebute Metta, with routes stretching from Ikorodu to Ajah.
A Lagos driving experience
The developer aims to capture everyday life in Lagos through its roads, landmarks, and passenger conversations. Players will hear Lagos-style chatter and Pidgin banter from passengers and other drivers as they work through their day, from picking up their first fare to dropping off their final passenger.

Ojo is building the game alone using Unity Engine. The Android version will be free to download on Google Play, with the first mission available at no cost. Players can unlock the full game with a one-time payment of ₦2,999 ($2.25). The PC version will cost $3.99 on itch.io.
Both versions are scheduled to launch on October 27th, while an iOS version is planned for a later update. Danfo Simulator: Open World joins a growing range of Nigerian games drawing on local settings and culture.
