Saudi developer Abdulla Al Hamad reveals co-op adventure Bone

Saudi game developer Abdulla Al Hamad has revealed Bone, a four-player co-op adventure where players control skeletons working together to escort a fragile orb on a wagon.

Published by SAAF Interactive, the game challenges players to protect the orb as they travel through dangerous environments. Rough driving and bumps can knock it off the wagon, and if the orb breaks, the team loses.

Players repair damaged parts of the wagon using wood and a hammer, solve puzzles to clear blocked paths, and defend their vehicle against enemies. Some foes target the wagon itself, while others focus on destroying the orb.

Teamwork is key

Bone puts cooperation at the centre of its gameplay, with players needing to manage different threats while keeping the wagon moving. When a teammate dies, the remaining players can carry their skull to bring them back into the game.

The combination of wagon protection, repairs, puzzles and enemy encounters gives each player a role in helping the group reach its destination. Teams must work together to overcome obstacles while keeping the orb safe from damage.

Al Hamad, who previously developed the horror game Aunt Fatima, is building Bone in Unreal Engine 5. The game is in development for PC with English and Arabic support.
