Esports Foundation recruits Isabelle Huet as head of sponsorship account management
She will work with sponsors and agencies across the Esports World Cup and the Esports Nations Cup
The Esports Foundation has appointed Isabelle Huet as head of sponsorship account management, with Huet relocating to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to take up the role.
Huet joins from IMG, where she served as senior global partnerships director. Before that, she spent nearly ten years at Mindshare, including over four years as partnerships client director handling Unilever UK partnerships, and five years as business director for partnerships.
In her new role, Huet will work with sponsors and agencies across the Esports World Cup and the Esports Nations Cup.
"It's a big move, professionally and personally, but I'm looking forward to bringing everything I've learned into a sport that's growing faster than almost anything else out there," said Huet.
New chapter
The Esports Foundation is running the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, which is currently underway. The event brings together more than 2,000 players from over 100 countries competing across 25 tournaments in 24 games, with a $75 million prize pool on offer.
Huet said she is looking forward to applying her partnerships background in a sport she described as growing faster than almost anything else.
