Mohammed Albariqi promoted to intermediate QA at Steer Studios
The Riyadh-based engineer steps up after two years working his way through the studio's quality assurance team
Steer Studios has promoted Mohammed Albariqi to intermediate quality assurance, continuing a steady rise through the studio's QA department since he joined as an intern in 2023.
Albariqi first joined Steer as a quality assurance intern in 2023, converted to a full-time junior QA role in 2024, and has now stepped up to the Intermediate level after two years in that position.

Steer Studios is among the Saudi studios building out internal creative teams as the Kingdom's games industry continues to expand under Vision 2030.
The studio's titles include Grunt Rush, a free offline tactical war game that emerged from an internal pitch competition tied to a developer training programme and was built largely by first-time developers.
Before joining Steer, Albariqi completed an IoT internship at Smart Methods. He also received the Savvy Games Group Excellence Award 2025, recognition tied to work delivered during his time as Junior QA.
