Moroccan developer June Studio reveals interplanetary sandbox game Exploitation: Corporate Greed
Currently in development for PC, with June Studio targeting a 2027 release
Moroccan indie studio June Studio has revealed EXPLOITATION_: CORPORATE GREED, a third-person sandbox game that combines exploration, tactical combat and company management in a future where space exploration has been privatised.
The game puts players in control of an off-world company sanctioned by the United Earth Government, with the goal of exploring uncharted planets, exploiting their resources, outmanoeuvring rivals and expanding their business across the universe.
Players will begin by sending reconnaissance teams to new planets using Extra-Vehicular Machines (EVMs), allowing them to discover resources, alien life, ruins and rival activity.
Building a space empire
Those resources can then be used to grow the company while dealing with hazards including extreme radiation, heat, cold, unstable atmospheres and gravitational anomalies.
The game also features multiple forms of transportation, including ground, sea and low-atmosphere flight, alongside tactical combat using weapons, vehicles and company resources such as militarised EVMs and orbital strikes. Players will also be able to recruit staff across departments including reconnaissance, logistics and security.
The game's world will continue to change as its in-game Solar System calendar advances. Competitors will become stronger and governments will introduce new laws, forcing players to adapt their strategies to avoid bankruptcy.
EXPLOITATION_: CORPORATE GREED is being developed by June Studio, an independent game studio based in Casablanca, Morocco.
June Studio is listed in IsaKaba's Studios Directory.
