Naphora Games Group enters soft launch with three original mobile games

Riyadh-based Naphora Games Group has entered soft launch with three original mobile games: Content Creator Mansion, Arototo and Grapplo, marking the studio's first major releases since a company-wide rebuild that began in mid-2025.

The three titles span idle tycoon, puzzle and endless runner genres, all developed and self-published by Naphora, and are now live worldwide on Google Play. A fourth game is expected to enter soft launch in late September, with two more titles planned for Q4 2026.

Naphora said its goal is to become Saudi Arabia's leading mobile game developer and eventually one of the world's top mobile studios, building globally competitive games from Riyadh.

From investor to developer

Until mid-2025, Naphora operated primarily as an investment label, backing external studios and providing centralized services.

Founder and Executive Chairman Saud Alblehed and co-founder Abdullah Almuhanna brought in Charles Bussy, formerly of Ubisoft and Halfbrick Studios, as Partner and Managing Director to redesign the studio's operating model.

The company pivoted away from third-party investment to focus entirely on developing, owning and self-publishing original games from Saudi Arabia for global audiences.

Naphora now operates with fewer than 50 people, built around a continuous pipeline where concepts are prototyped, tested against the market, and either progressed, changed or stopped, with production investment increasing only as evidence increases.

The leadership team includes experience from Halfbrick and Ubisoft, working on titles including Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, alongside Head of Marketing Vishal Mahadeo and Head of Product and Design Jason Maundrell.

Naphora is listed in the IsaKaba Studios Directory
